According to postings on Athens IMC:A rumour was circulated that Thodoris Iliopoulos was about to be transferred to Thriasio Hospital in Elefsina for medical exams. Two comrades went there but didn't find him, so they called the Korydalos Prison and asked where Thodoris is, but the officers refused to say anything. Finally we learnt that Thodoris was in Sotiria Hospital in Athens (Mesogion Str 152). His lawyer is already there. The copsʼ order is to let him do a few medical exams there and then take him back to Korydalos Prison. Rumours, however, say that he is about to stay in Sotiria. Weʼll have to wait and see.----Translatorʼs additions:Whatever happens, the Greek society and people in solidarity from all over the world demand not only proper medical support but also his immediate release.Freedom-defending people in Athens participate in a general assembly (started at 20h00 today) to co-ordinate their approaches.More info about Thodoris:international callout in more than a dozen languages: http://athens.indymedia.org/front.php3?lang=en&article_id=1068604Who is Thodoris Iliopoulos?―Thodoris Iliopoulos is a 31-year old defender of freedom who after his arrest in December 2008 is illegally detained in Koridalos Prison in Athens with fabricated molotov-throwing charges by cops, whereas all other witnesses confirm that he is totally innocent.
